Sydney winner of AUS$20m Oz Lotto yet to come forward
SYDNEY, AUS – The winner of Oz Lotto’s $20 million prize is from Sydney but is yet to come forward to claim one of the biggest recent prizes in Oz Lotto history.
NSW Lotteries haven’t given away the exact location of where the ticket has been purchased to give the winner time to find the ticket without any media circus building up in the area where they live.
Elissa Lewis of NSW Lotteries PR said, “This entry was not purchased using a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, so we have no details about the winner, and it is likely that they are also unaware of their good fortune. Had they registered their ticket, we could have called them with the news that they’re now $20 million richer.”
The lottery is calling on anyone who bought a ticket for the OZ Lotto draw to check and re-check their tickets as they could be $20 million richer.
The winning numbers from the draw made on September 14th were 25, 34, 41, 18, 24, 29 and 23 with supplementary bonus numbers of 38 and 37.
In a similar situation in April, a couple remained oblivious to the fact they had won $30 million until they heard lottery officials on the radio calling for the winner to come forward.
