£82 million up for grabs tonight in Euro Millions
A huge jackpot of £82,000,000 in tonight’s Euro Millions is the second biggest jackpot prize on offer to UK lottery players.
Tonight’s Euro Millions draw has an estimated jackpot just short of the £84.4 million won by an anonymous single player in May. Since June 2009, ten people in Britain have won Euro Millions jackpots, totalling £347 million in total prize money given out.
If no one was to win tonight, the jackpot would roll over to close to £100 million for the draw to be made a week today.
A spokesperson for the UK National Lottery said, “”With £82 million to play with, you could share your wealth with all your friends and family and still have plenty left to change your own life beyond your wildest dreams. Huge jackpots like these really capture the imagination of players but don’t forget that, in addition to the chance to scoop a life-changing sum, more people playing EuroMillions means more money raised for good causes all over the UK.”
According to the Sunday Times Rich List, a single winner of tonight’s jackpot would instantly become richer than the Gallagher brothers from Oasis and be on a par with the wealth of Robbie Williams and Sir Sean Connery.
In the Daily Star, the luckiest profession for lottery players is construction worker while the most drawn number in the Euro Millions is 38.
