UK Euro Millions winner yet to claim biggest ever prize
LONDON – The still anonymous winner of a £113 million Euro Millions lottery prize will become one of the richest people in the country when they claim their prize money. Even if it was a syndicate that won the jackpot, they will all receive a multi million pound prize; a life changing amount of money.
Camelot, the UK Lottery operator knows where the winning ticket was purchased but have not yet released this information to give the winner a chance to deal with the fact they’ve won the biggest UK lottery prize ever without having constant press attention.
Speculation is rife about the identity of the winner and there have been accusations of hoax tickets being posted on the social networking site Facebook. Only Camelot will be able to confirm the identity of the winner.
The winning ticket holder has 177 days to claim the ticket and is losing up to £8,500 per day in interest the money would gain if it had been claimed already. If the ticket holder is a single player, they will automatically become the 589th richest person in the United Kingdom.
The winning numbers were 9, 30, 35, 39 and 46, with Lucky Star numbers 6 and 8.
