UK National Lottery searching for £2 million winner
LONDON, UK – The search is on for the holder of a winning ticket purchased in south-east London for the Lotto draw made on Saturday November 13th. The ticket in question matched all six numbers drawn to win a jackpot of just over £2.25 million.
The ticket was purchased at a lottery vendor in Bromley and matched all six numbers draw, which were 5, 11, 29, 31, 35 and 39. The bonus ball was number 45.
Though it is unusual for people winning such large prizes to wait so long to claim their prize, it is not like they are short of time to locate the ticket and claim the prize. The prize will expire on May 12th next year, giving a total of 180 days from the draw date for the winner to get their money.
A National Lottery spokesman said, We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Anyone who thinks they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000.
According to the National Lottery there are a total of 28 prizes yet to be claimed that are within the 180 day deadline set by Camelot.
