Idaho town on the look out for $190m Mega Millions winner
POST FALLS, ID – The lucky person who purchased a winning Mega Millions ticket in the suburban Idaho town of Post Falls is yet to come forward to claim their $190 million jackpot prize, nearly a week after the draw was made.
The winner of the other half of the $380 million jackpot from Washington State has already come forward to claim their half of the prize and was understandably overwhelmed by the scale of the prize money.
Jim and Carolyn McCullar are the couple from a town just 125 miles west of Post Falls, who claimed their half of the jackpot on Thursday.
Lottery officials are unable to reveal the identity of the Idaho winner apart from narrowing it down to on of Post Falls’ 26,000 residents.
The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize and, while it is understandable that they may want to remain anonymous, once they come forward their details will be a matter of public record.
