LONDON – A lottery player who purchased a ticket in London late on Christmas Eve has won a £388,384 EuroMillions prize. The winning ticket holder has still to come forward to claim the prize, nearly three weeks after the draw was made.

National Lottery officials were able to reveal that the ticket was purchased in the London Borough of Harrow and that the ticket matched five numbers and one Lucky Star in the EuroMillions draw made on Christmas Eve.

A spokesperson for the UK National Lottery said, “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life and really would be a wonderful start to 2011. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.”

The winning ticket holder has plenty of time to find the elusive ticket as it will not expire until June 22nd.

The numbers drawn in EuroMillions on 24th December 2010 were 19, 36, 38, 42 and 46. The Lucky Stars were 2 and 8.

As with all EuroMillions prizes won in the UK, if the ticket isn’t claimed in time the full prize amount will go to the National Lottery Good Causes fund.
