Scotland’s EuroMillions winners to go public after claiming £161m jackpot


FALKIRK, SCOTLAND – Europe’s biggest-ever winners of the lottery are from the Falkirk area of Scotland, Great Britain.
The UK National Lottery operator Camelot confirmed that the winners were a couple. They have won £161,653,000 and will go public on Friday afternoon at a news conference in a local hotel.
They are set to reveal their plans for the future. The conference will take place at 2.30pm today (Friday 15th July).
The winning numbers were 17, 19, 38, 42 and 45, and the Lucky Stars were 9 and 10. The win will catapult them into 430th place in this year’s Sunday Times Rich List.
