Brasilian lottery winner faced murder plot from own father

CUIABA, Bra. – The winner of a Brasil lottery jackpot worth around £11million has escaped a plot to kill him, from his own father! Police caught two contract killers allegedly hired by the winners father to carry out the murder on Friday.
Fabio de Barros won the lottery in 2006 and ever since then he and his father have fought over the winnings ever since then. Police told Fabio about his father Francisco’s plans to have him murdered in order to keep the winnings that they had been fighting over.
Francisco de Barros, 60, refused to hand over the money that his son had deposited into his bank account and so a legal battle ensued. They have not spoken for around three years.
Francisco was arrested in Cuiaba in western Brazil on Wednesday. Police learned of the murder plot by monitoring the phone conversations between the two supposed contract killers.
