£118k Lotto prize goes unclaimed in Wales
CARDIFF, U.K. – A winning U.K. National Lottery ticket worth just under £118,000, bought in South Wales, has not been claimed by anyone as the 180 day deadline for claiming the prize passed. All the prize amount, plus any interest it has gained in the 180 days will be passed on to various good causes supported by the National Lottery.
The ticket was purchased in the Neath Port Talbot area for the a Lotto draw made in march. Whoever purchased the ticket matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win the £118,000 prize.
According to Camelot, the deadline for claiming the prize was at 5.30 p.m. on Monday 30th August 2010.
