Ontario Lottery to combine scratch card with draw game
TORONTO, ON. – The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is about to launch “Poker Lotto” ; a game that for the first time combines a scratch card with a nightly draw to determine the winner.
In a news release OLG announced that “Poker Lotto is a new lottery game that is unlike any other lottery game ever created. Poker Lotto uses playing card symbols instead of numbers and, for the first time in Canadian history, combines an instant win game with a nightly lottery draw.”
OLG also recently announced that it will be starting an online gambling venture as it seeks to find new revenue streams as the impact of the global financial crisis is felt in its casinos.
