DeKalb, IL. – The winning ticket holder of a Illinois Lotto jackpot worth $4.5 million bought for last weekends draw has still to come forward to claim their prize, the Illinois Lottery has announced.
Madonna Duncan, a lottery spokesperson said that it is not unusual for the winner of such a big prize to wait a few days to get their affair in order. She said, ” we don’t go out to try and find them. We just let them come forward when they’re ready.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Road Ranger store in DeKalb and it has been confirmed that the store will get a bonus of $45,000 for selling the jackpot winning ticket.
