Kansas woman wins $1.35 million lotto jackpot
TOPEKA, KS – A Great-Grandmother from Hanover, Kansas can now retire in comfort after winning Wednesday’s Kansas Super Cash Lotto draw worth just over $1.35 million.
Marilyn Camden didn’t reveal her age but says that she has no plans yet to retire from a job she loves; office manager with Lineweber & Sons in Hanover.
The hard working grandmother will receive a check for $950,000 after state and federal taxes are taken from the total prize amount. Ms. Camden said at a presentation in the Kansas Lottery headquarters that she plans to use the money to pay off bills and give some of the money to her two children. She also has four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
