OZ 7 Lotto winneryet to come forward to claim $10m prize

BRISBANE, QD – Lottery officials are on the hunt for the winner of a $10 million lottery jackpot from Tuesday night’s OZ 7 Lotto draw. The winning ticket holder purchased the ticket for the draw at a store in Brisbane and will share the total jackpot of $20 million with another lucky winner from Victoria.

Unfortunately the ticket was purchased by an unregistered player, meaning that Golden Casket, the OZ 7 Lotto operator is unable to track down the winner easily.

The newsagency, just north of Brisbane, where the ticket was purchased has put a huge sign urging people to check their tickets. Brett Carey, the owner of the shop told the Sydney Morning Herald, “I did have a ticket myself which I checked, but tragically it wasn’t me. It could have been a truck driver on his way to Cairns, or it might have been a local person. We hope it’s a local.”

Mr Carey added that this was the second big win for the newsagency in recent weeks.

“About 10 weeks ago we sold a first prize in a Wednesday draw for $1 million.” he said

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s draw were 12, 26, 28, 33, 36, 38, 43, and supplementary numbers 14, 11.

The winner matched all seven numbers to win the jackpot.
