Christmas comes early for latest NSW Lotto millionaire
BEACON HILL, NSW – A man from Beacon Hill, New South Wales claimed an AUS$1 million prize in Monday night’s Lotto draw.
New South Wales lottery officials were the first to tell the man (who asked to remain anonymous) that he had won. The man said in a news release that he was completely unaware that he had become an overnight millionaire.
The winner said that he was finding it very difficult to comprehend the life changing money he’d won. “This is unbelievable, I cannot tell you what it means. It is going to help us a lot.” he said
The daughter of the store owners where the winning ticket was sold indicated that this wasn’t the first big winning ticket they had sold. “We have been here four years and it’s the second time we have had a first division lotto win. The first one was in a $5 million Monday lotto – I think they got $826,000.”
The winning numbers for Monday night’s draw were 4, 11, 20, 22, 30 and 38. The supplementary numbers were 24 and 26.
Another $1 million prize was won by a Lotto player in Victoria.
