NZ Lotto jackpot of $4.8 million remains unclaimed after over a month
WELLINGTON, NZ – A $4.8 million lottery prize remains unclaimed nearly a month after it was sold in Manukau.
The Big Wednesday ticket was sold on November 17 at Crandell Peters Paper Plus in Manukau, NZ Lotteries chief executive Todd McLeay said today.
It was unusual for a big winner to have not claimed the prize by this time, he said.
The search for the winner will continue until the last possible date that they can claim the prize. Any unclaimed expired NZ Lotto prizes will go to good causes throughout the country.
