North Carolina Education Lottery set to launch two new Scratch Cards

RALEIGH, N.C. – As of this morning there will be two new instant games available for purchase at North Carolina Education Lottery retail outlets.

Ruby Red 7’s is a $5 game that is part of the NCEL’s series of games featuring gems and the lucky No. 7. There are five $70,000 jackpot prizes to be won as well as $13.2 million in total prizes available.

The Ruby Red 7’s game allows players to win up to 15 times by matching their numbers with any set of winning numbers. Players who scratch to reveal a black “7” symbol win the prize shown and those who reveal a red “7” symbol win double the amount of the prize shown.

The other new scratch card now on sale is called Blackjack Bonus. It is a $1 ticket featuring $3.4 million in prizes, including 12 top prizes of $2,100.

The ticket features a blackjack table format with each player getting four hands of two cards to pit against the dealer’s hand. Each ticket also has a bonus area where if players reveal a “21 burst” symbol, they instantly win the prize shown.
