Man loses out on £109m because he couldn’t afford £2 ticket
GREENOCK, UK – Carl Nordmann, 50, a factory worker from Greenock in Scotland, missed a £109million lottery win because he didn’t have enough cash to play his regular £2 line.
He has played the same three lines on EuroMillions for two years. After a cutback in his shifts at IBM he could only afford to play two £2 lines — and his usual third line won.
The father of three, originally from the United States, only found out his third line was worth £109,315,762 on Friday.
A Camelot spokeswoman said; “This poor man must be devastated.”
