Boise man wins $250k on scratch card
BOISE, Idaho – A 37 year old insurance agent who spent some time living in a homeless shelter has won $250,000 playing a scratch off ticket courtesy of the Idaho Lottery.
Anthony Castro is the lucky winner and he said he plans on investing and saving the money for the future, opening a savings account for his daughter. He has already donated a portion to his church.
Mr Castro, who grew up New York and moved to Idaho soon after the September 11th attacks is moving on again to Portland to start a new job. Before he was able to survive financially he also spent some time in a homeless shelter.
