South Carolina man wins $200k
COLUMBIA, S.C – A man from Darlington is the latest in a long line of South Carolina Education Lottery scratch off ticket winners.
The lucky winner, who wanted to remain anonymous won his $200,000 prize after playing a “Holiday Riches” scratch-off ticket.
The winner is not the only benificiary of the prize. The store where he purchased the winning ticket, Town and Country Mart in Darlington will get $2,000 commission for selling the ticket.
Every retailer that sells a claimed ticket worth $10,000 or more earns a 1 percent commission up to $50,000.
