Missouri womans wins $1million scratch card prize
WEST PLAINS, MO – Missouri Lottery officials have confirmed that Carolyn Girdley from West Plains has won $1 million after playing a $20 scratch off ticket.
The 54-year-old administrative assistant, bought her winning scratchers ticket called “$5,000,000 Cash Extravaganza” from a local convenience store in West Plains.
Mrs. Girdley is not unfamiliar with the winning feeling as she has won other large prizes before. She was part of a lottery syndicate that won a $10,000 Powerball prize in 2008. Also, along with her husband, they have won many lottery prizes over $1,000.
Girdley said that she and her husband plan to pay bills and share the winnings with their three children.
