Indiana couple win $100k scratchers prize
JEFFERSONVILLE, IN. – A scratch card from the Hoosier Lottery has given a couple from Jeffersonville a huge cash boost after they picked up a ticket worth $100,000!
Roy and Martha Denison, a retired couple who moved from Kentucky to Jeffersonville five decades ago and are looking forward to being able to use some of their winnings to help out a daughter and grandchild.
The winning ticket was a $5 “$100,000 Taxes Paid” scratch card from the Hoosier Lottery. The Denison’s pick up $100,000 exactly as the state and federal taxes of around $39,000 are paid for by the lottery.
The game went on sale in February and offers prizes from $40 to the $100,000 jackpot.
