Super Lotto jackpot ticket sold in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Ca. – A winning lottery ticket worth $23million was sold to one lucky player in San Diego. The winner matched all five numbers and the mega-number in the Super Lotto Plus draw.

The winning ticket holder now has to choose between a one time lump sum payout of roughly half the advertised jackpot or to be paid the full amount in annual instalments over 26 years.

The winning numbers were 7, 8, 11, 15, 31 and the mega-number was 27.

The store where the ticket was sold will gain a bonus of $115,000 (half a per cent of the prize total) according to California Lottery officials.

Five more tickets matched five of the six numbers. Each of these tickets is worth just under $14,000.
