Wilmington woman wins $100k scratch card prize
WILMINGTON, N.C. – A community college instructor from Wilmington has won a $100,000 scratch card prize from the North Carolina Education Lottery from a $20 “$200 million Extravaganza” scratch card.
Michelle Sabaoun will take home just over $66,000 after state and federal taxes are taken from the prize amount.
In a statement from the N.C. Lottery it was announced that Ms. Sabaoun plans to put the money in to a family saving account.
