N.C. woman wins on same scratch card twice in July!
THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Blanca Moreno, a furniture factory worker has struck it lucky twice in a month after winning $10,000 and now $1million on the same North Carolina Education Lottery scratch card!
Ms. Moreno, of Thomasville purchased her winning $10,000 ticket about two weeks ago and, feeling lucky she decided to buy a couple more of the “Cash Spectacular” game later on in the month and found herself a winner again, this time for the jackpot prize of $1million.
Moreno told FOX News that the million dollar win was “a different feeling from last time, I was so excited , I couldn’t feel my feet.”
The $1million prize will be paid as an annuity over 20 years, Moreno receives around $34,000 per year after state and federal taxes are taken from the prize amount.
