Connecticut Scratch Cards

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation sells over 100 different scratch cards in addition to many other draw games on offer in the state.

The prices of the tickets are $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $20 and $30. Prizes range from $1 to $3,000,000 depending on ticket price and game played. $3million is one of the largest prizes ever made available through a scratch card.

There are many tickets associated with sports teams such as NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox baseball teams and New York Giants NFL team.

In Connecticut, sales of scratchcards have fallen by $12.7million or 2.1% as of June 2009. This has been partly due to poor sales of the expensive $30 cards.
