Illinois Scratch Cards

The Illinois Lottery has for sale, numerous “Instants” scratch cards of varying prices and prize money. They represent a valuable part of the Illinois Lottery’s products.

Illinois Lottery sells scratch cards at $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $15, $20 and $30.

Prizes on offer vary from a $1minimum to $3million over 25years depending on the “Instant” purchased.

Scratch cards based on Deal or No Deal and popular arcade game Golden Tee helped Illinois Lottery sales of “Instants” to reach $1.1billion for the financial year 2008. Scratch card sales made up 53% of total revenue for 2008.

Scratch card popularity is yet to diminish in Illinois and they look set to remain popular for many years to come.
