Massachusetts State Lottery sells many scratch cards with varying cash and non-cash prizes.
Scratch cards a priced at five different rates, these are: $1, $2, $5, $10 and $20.
Prizes vary from card to card but the minimum win is $1 and the maximum winnable amount on a card is $10million ($500,000 per year for 20 years). Some cards offer a lump some payout of up to $4million.
Both the Boston Red Sox MLB baseball team and the Boston Celtics NBA basketball team are affiliated with some scratch cards. These special cards offer various extra prizes such as a season ticket for life.
