The North Carolina Education Lottery sells a variety of scratch cards to appeal to all types of lottery players in the state.

The games it sells are priced at $1, $2, $3, $5 and $10 with many options at each price level to maximise choice for the consumer.

Prizes on scratch cards in North Carolina start at $1 and go up to $50,000 a year for life (with a minimum 20years guaranteed). The maximum single cash pay out on offer is $1million.

In the financial year 2008, scratch card revenue represented nearly 60% of total North Carolina Education Lottery sales with revenue for the year of over $635million.
