LONDON – Last Friday’s Euro Millions draw saw no one match all of the winning numbers, meaning that this week’s jackpot rolled over to a UK record of £112 million: a£30 million increase on the previous jackpot total.

Camelot, the UK National Lottery operator announced that it believes Euro Millions fever will hit many people all over the country as they try to win the biggest jackpot ever seen and enter the world of the super rich.

A spokesperson for Camelot said, “Players love a big jackpot – and £112million is more than enough to transform your life and the lives of your friends and family.”

The biggest jackpot won in Great Britain was claimed by a single, anonymous player in May when they scooped a prize of £84.4 million.

The winning numbers from last Friday’s draw were 1, 4, 6, 27 and 28 with the Lucky Star numbers 1 and 6.

In Italy there is an even bigger lottery jackpot, the SuperEnaLotto jackpot has surpassed its previous record levels and now stands at a colossal €153.7 million, which will make any single winner one of the biggest prize winners in lottery history.
