MUSSELBURGH, U.K. – A couple from Musselburgh, near the Scottish capital Edinburgh have had their lucky day. Brian and Ann Sharp normally play seven lottery lines for each draw and on Saturday night each of their sets of numbers won! One of the lines even scooped them a share of the jackpot.

The Musselburgh couple have three children and won a share of the Lotto jackpot worth just over £2million.

Mrs Sharp, who was watching the draw live on television told the Edinburgh Evening News, “I felt like I was in a big bubble. I kept pinching myself because I thought I was dreaming. I called Brian and my voice was shaking so he knew I wasn’t joking.”

Mr Sharp, who was on shift work at the time of the draw said, “I could tell from Ann’s voice that there was something going on. I tried to remain calm and quickly went online to check the numbers. I left work early to let the news sink in and then we sat up all night with the family, planning our next move.”

The Sharps are big fans of Hearts Football Club and they plan to buy season tickets for themselves and friends.

They also want to make their silver wedding anniversary, which is coming up later in the year, extra special. A trip to Australia or America for this was suggested by Mr. Sharp.
