Lotto Max ticket worth CA$23m sold in Ontario

TORONTO, ON – Someone in Brantford, Ontario is the lucky winner of a $23,o00,000 Lotto Max jackpot after a ticket purchased in the town matched all seven numbers drawn on Friday night.

The town of Brantford is some 100 kilometres south-west of Toronto.

The winning numbers for the draw were 2, 5, 6, 43, 46, 47 and 48 with a bonus number of 39.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says the winner can go to any lottery retailer to validate their ticket or check it with a self-scanner, or can bypass that avenue by contacting the OLG directly.

“We’re extremely excited to have a single ticket from Ontario win this jackpot,” said Wendy Montgomery, vice-president of Lottery Marketing at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp.
