Gold Coast family wins AUS$1.3 million lotto jackpot

BRISBANE, AUS – A family from Pacific Pines in the Gold Coast are thanking their lucky stars after picking up a share of Gold Lotto’s jackpot at the weekend and a total prize of $1.3 million.

The family who have asked to have their identity kept anonymous purchased the ticket at a lottery retailer in Pacific Pines town centre claimed their prize this week.

Former Gold Coast mayor Gary Baildon, owner of the newsagency, said the lucky lottery ticket was one of two big wins at his business last week.

Earlier in the week a regular was fortunate to score $25,000 from a winning Scratch-It. “Good luck comes in threes and we’re expecting our next big win soon.”
