Winning $14 million Florida Lotto ticket bought in Miami Springs

MIAMI SPRINGS, FL – Florida’s latest lottery millionaire purchased their ticket in Miami Springs, the Florida State Lottery announced this weekend. The winner of Saturday night’s Florida Lotto draw wins just over $14 million before taxes.

There are 11 lottery ticket retailers in Miami Springs and whichever one sold the winning ticket will receive $10,000 plus $5,000 for each time the jackpot rolled over before it was won.

The winning numbers, matched by this lucky ticket holder, were 8, 20, 25, 28, 42 and 44.

Fifty-eight ticket holders were close to the jackpot as they matched five out of the six numbers drawn to win $4,113, but six of these winners had purchased a Lotto Xtra option that multiplied the prize by five times to $20,567.

In the multi-state draw game Powerball, no-one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball to win the jackpot, which means that the jackpot for Wednesday night’s Powerball draw sits at a cool $35,000,000.

A player from Florida matched all five white balls in the Powerball draw, but missed out on the Powerball to win $200,000.
