Lotto winner from Suffolk wins £5.6m share of jackpot

IPSWICH, UK – A supermarket worker from Suffolk has had all their Christmases come at once after they matched all the numbers in Wednesday’s Lotto draw. The draw was a double rollover and the lucky winner will receive £5.6 million after another player in the country won the other half of the total jackpot.

The winner is believed to be from Lowestoft, which has become one of the luckiest Lotto towns in the country as there have been two previous multi million pound winners in the past six years. In July 2004, Graham Howlett won £2.25 million and in December 2006, Stephanie Spindler won a prize of just under £2.2 million.

Although the winner has yet to be named, the woman and her husband are due to receive their cheque and speak about their plans for the future at Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton-on-Sea this morning.

The winning numbers drawn on Wednesday were 20, 21, 22 ,24, 27 and 34. The bonus ball was number 29.
