Scratch card jackpot win for Georgia woman

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – An Alpharetta woman won a $500,000 lottery prize on Friday, thanks to a Georgia Lottery scratch card instant game.

Nancy Hitchcock, 63, won her half million dollar top prize in the “JUMBO Jumbo Bucks” game, according to Georgia Lottery officials.

After scratching the ticket in her car in the parking lot of the store she bought it in and realizing she was a winner, Hitchcock raced back into the store to share her amazing news with the clerks!

The grandmother of four plans to take her family to Disney World for a long overdue holiday.

JUMBO Jumbo Bucks is priced at $10 and is one of a huge number of scratch cards sold by the Georgia Lottery. The odds of winning any prize in this game are 1 in 2.56.
